PAX Next Steps Training

About PAX Next Steps

What is PAX Next Steps?

PAX Next Steps Training helps teachers who have already been trained in the PAX Good Behavior Game® further expand and integrate strategies. PAX Next Steps supports teachers in recalibrating classroom implementation to improve outcomes by meeting the unique needs of teachers and students using PAX strategies. This training expands upon the 4th Edition PAX Good Behavior Game Initial Training and explores the new content in the PAX Good Behavior Game 5th Edition Manual including improving student outcomes, creating Trauma-informed Classrooms, addressing academic disparities, and implementing PAX with different age groups

About PAX Next Steps Self-paced Online Training?

The PAX Next Steps self-paced online training guides participants through each step of the training on their own schedule. This course can be completed in 6 hours and instructs participants on how to troubleshoot and recalibrate their PAX GBG classroom implementation. It also provides support in integrating PAX into other school-wide or classroom initiatives. This self-paced online training allows participants two weeks to complete the course at any time on their own. This training is also available in a live virtual platform by request.

Resources for PAX Teachers

In addition to the newest edition of the PAX Good Behavior Game Manual, participants will be invited to utilize the newest PAX Teacher resources available at paxis.org. PAX-trained teachers also receive access to the PAX UP! App and ongoing implementation support via monthly virtual PAX Chats with PAXIS trainers.
